Our appellations
Four appellations are produced at the estate:
Mâcon Solutré-Pouilly
Our Mâcon Solutré-Pouilly comes from a single parcel located at the foot of the Roche de Solutré known as “la Levée”.
This parcel is located on deep white clays which give a slow maturation to the grapes. This brings the aromatic freshness and the natural lightness of Mâcon village.
Saint-Véran
The vineyard extends over 3.5 hectares between Leynes and Chasselas. The plots have silty soils, with limestones typical of the terroirs of Saint-Véran.
These limestones give particularly floral wines with a characteristic austere minerality and a very fresh finish.
Pouilly-Fuissé
The vineyard is spread over 15 parcels located in the village of Solutré-Pouilly.
The vines draw their minerals from the deepest part of the marl of old limestone, the same limestone that constitutes the Roche de Solutré. The resulting wines develop a skilful blend of ripe fruit, exotic fruit and mineral aromas.
Juliénas
The vineyard is composed of two parcels exposed to the South East and in altitude on the commune of Pruzilly. The soil is composed of gravelly sand on granite.
The wines produced have an aroma of small fresh red fruits such as strawberry, redcurrant accompanied by a slightly peppery touch.
